The Fairchild Wheeler Campus hosts three STEM based magnet schools

We dropped off some books today for a teacher at the gorgeous, state-of-the-art Fairchild-Wheeler Multi-Magnet High School in Bridgeport, which offers its 750 students a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) project-based curriculum. It is run as three separate magnet high schools: Information Technology & Software Engineering, Biotechnology Research & Zoological Sciences, and Aerospace/Hydrospace Engineering & Physical Sciences.

Although our 'sweet spot' for books is typically PreK - 8th grades, it was fascinating to see what educational options are available at the high school level in Bridgeport.
