We dropped off a few boxes of books to the PT Partners facility on Bostwick Avenue. This family engagement center in the midst of the P.T. Barnum apartments in Bridgeport provides a gathering space for families with young children, and aims to transform public housing neighborhoods into communities of opportunity by coaching residents in taking the lead.
The kids in the neighborhood love to stop by to pick up books whenever they can and the center can always use more books for all ages.
