Shutterfly has a new app Photo Story that lets you create printed books from the iPad. An interesting twist is that you can add up to 30 seconds of audio to each page and send the book electronically to someone.
Create a story in pictures about your child's year and have him narrate it for his grandparents. You could also make a copy of her favorite book and record your voice reading it to her at bedtime.
